At a young age Brendan and his love for all things fire and metal became a blacksmith hobbyist. Taking his passion and hobby to Victoria Falls in following the love of his life Karen.
He started his career in community based projects welding and mending for the community. However his love grew into forgery and foundries. With limited resources, he set a path to creating his own hand-crafted forge and foundry and tools to assist in the, now growing, interest in hammering, molding, casting, manipulating and shaping knives and tools and other objects and projects.
In 2020 Karen, Brendan and their family decided to move to South Africa to join family and grow a business. Unfortunately COVID put a halt to the development of the new artisan brand, however, it did allow Brendan the time to reflect and re-focus his business ideas and plan.
Realising that without his hand crafted equipment and tools for ‘home’ forging and foundry, created in Victoria Falls, he would never have been able to grow his skills, knowledge and passion in casting, molding, knives and alike.
His plan became clearer; he wanted to bring to other novices and passioneers alike; the same opportunities; to create industrial art, by designing and selling affordable gas powered forges and foundries to learn and experiment as he once did, in his backyard, in Victoria Falls.
Enjoying consulting 3-D Creators in how-to use his foundries; melting, casting and molding to re-create their designs.
